One objective of the SEERC Student Research Conference is to provide an opportunity for researchers at the start of their careers to meet and share their work with their peers from all around the South East European (SEE) region. Hopefully this will help build up some research networks in the years to come. Another objective is to provide an opportunity for PhD students to liaise with and receive advice from expert advisors in their chosen field of research who have had rich experience in supervising and examining PhD students.

All papers will be presented at the Conference to an expert panel of academics and other PhD Conference participants. Each presentation will be followed by questions from the audience and comments/feedback from the panel members. The accepted submissions will be included in the Proceedings published by SEERC. In addition, there will be a general discussion session guided by the panel discussants and participants, addressing various issues on PhD work and research experience in general.
