Ivan Landek is employed in the State Geodetic Administration as Assistant Director-General. In the State Geodetic Administration, he is in charge of the Topographic Surveys and State Maps Division and is responsible for the production of civil maps of topographic and photogrammetric nature in the Republic of Croatia. He graduated in 1984 from the Geodetic Faculty of the Zagreb University. In 2003, he enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Geodetic Faculty of the ZagrebUniversity. He has passed all exams and is currently writing his Master's thesis. After graduating from university, he worked for five years in different companies performing various geodetic assignments. From 1989 until 1996, he worked as associate professor at the Geodetic Faculty of the Zagreb University, teaching Photogrammetry I, II, III classes. He has been working in the State Geodetic Administration since 1996. Apart from his obligations at the State Geodetic Administration, he also serves as the Chairman of the Croatian Geodetic Institute Executive Board, as well as a member of the editorial board of the Scientific Committee for Advanced Research and Photo interpretation at the Croatian Academy of Arts and Science. He has published 7 scientific studies in foreign publications, 11 expert and review papers published in Croatian publications. He has actively been involved in the implementation of 19 scientific research projects and 15 expert projects. |
