Dr Panagiotis Sarigiannidis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Western Mecedonia, Kozani, Greece since 2016. He received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2001 and 2007 respectively. He has published over 100 papers in international journals, conferences and book chapters. He has been involved in several national, EU and international projects. His research interests include optical, wireless and optical-wireless networks, traffic engineering, visualization, security in internet of things, resource allocation and sentiment analysis.
