Ms.Gorgiev obtained her BA degree in Business Studies (Marketing) in 2008 and her MA degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations in 2010, both from the University of Sheffield. Soon after that, she started working in a marketing communications agency in Serbia as Senior Account Executive, advancing to Account Manager, while consulting some of the major brands. Following this, she became the brand manager for the three leading Serbian daily newspapers in one of the biggest publishing houses in South East Europe. In 2013, Ms.Gorgiev started her research as a full-time PhD candidate in Neuromarketing under the Doctoral Program offered by the University of Sheffield and SEERC.
