Start up company founded by two SEERC's PhD Students gets funding by JEREMIE Openfund II

The co-founders of Goodvidio met while working together as PhD researchers on cloud computing and intelligent information management, and started working on the development of an ecommerce video discovery platform in late 2013. In less than a year from incorporating the company, the startup’s team released a first version of its platform and launched a private beta program that already includes major retailers and brands from across the world. Plans for 2015 include launching the service in public beta and focusing on sales growth. 

Goodvidio (www.goodvid.io), the startup specializing in discovery and curation of social video for ecommerce sites, announced today it has received a €300,000 seed investment by JEREMIE Openfund II (www.theopenfund.com). The investment is to aid the company expand its private beta program and solidify its position as the one-stop solution provider for social video in ecommerce.
