Congratulations to Ms. Despina Panagiotidou, 1st year PhD Candidate in Cognitive Neuroscience under the joint supervision of Dr. Ana Vivas (CITY College) and Dr. Tom Stafford (The University of Sheffield), for winning the European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCoP) Early Career Stimulus award. The ESCoP Early Career Stimulus is awarded to PhD students of cognitive psychology for specific research projects, short-term visits to a lab abroad, and participation to conferences. Ms. Despina Panagiotidou was awarded the ESCoP grant for her research proposal with the title “Is the distractor devaluation effect actually emotional? An ERP study”, a study which she aims to conduct for a month at Bangor University Wales.
