In the frame of the Open Seminar Series at SEERC, we are pleased to announce a seminar to be delivered by Prof. Roger Moore (Computer Science Department, University of Sheffield). Thursday, 11/2/2010, 12:00-13:00, SEERC Conference Room.

The 2nd "Thessaloniki Semantic Web Meetup" took place on the 26th of January 2010, and was hosted by SEERC. The "Thessaloniki Semantic Web Meetup group" was founded in October 2009 with the aim of bringing together local researchers and practioners who are interested in Semantic Web technologies and their applications, to regularly discuss and exchange views on contemporary topics in this field.

SEERC, as part of its international collborative research and training activities, is pleased to host two exchange students from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and DHBW Mannheim, Germany, between October 2009 and March 2010.

Congratulations to Ms. Despina Panagiotidou for winning the Early Career Stimulus award of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCoP).

The 10th IFIP Working Conference on Virtual Enterprises (PRO-VE'09) took place on 7-9 October 2009, in Thessaloniki, Greece. The internationally renowned conference and premier event in the field of Collaborative Networks was organised by SEERC under the auspices of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and was attended by over 120 delegates from around the world.
