Prof. Panayiotis Ketikidis, Chairman of SEERC Management Committee, was an invited speaker at the Annual Partnering Event of Europe INNOVA, an initiative aspiring to become Europe's laboratory for the development, testing and promotion of new tools and instruments in support of innovation. The event was held in Berlin, and was hosted by the Fraunhofer Centre for Central and Eastern Europe.

CITY College, the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo (under UNSC 1244) announced a call for 3 scholarships for PhD studies at SEERC. The evaluation process has been completed. The successful applicants are Ms Krenare Pireva, Ms Teuta Danuza and Mr Armend Bekaj.

In the frame of the first phase of the INNOPOLIS project, 10 successful knowledge exchange practices between universities & enterprises have been identified from the project’s participating regions: Manchester (UK), Helsinki (FI), Lodz (PL) and Central Macedonia (GR). The consortium focused on the multimedia presentation of those practices, which are now available online.
