The Information & Knowledge Management research cluster belongs to the ICT Research Track of the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC), an overseas research centre of the University of Sheffield.

SEERC is established as a non-profit legal entity in Thessaloniki, and is linked to City College - the University's International Faculty in Greece.

Our group engages in interdiciplinary research activities, investigating new approaches, methods and technologies in the following thematic areas and their intersections:

• Service Oriented Computing
• Cloud Computing

The IKM research cluster perceives Information and Knowledge Management as an overarching theme that can encompass the above thematic areas, and we aspire to bring contributions to this field by exploring synergies through multidiciplinary lenses, focusing on both theoretical and technological perspectives.
