In the frame of the Open Seminar Series, SEERC is pleased to announce a seminar to be delivered by Professor Michael Siegal, from the University of Sheffield (Psychology Department) on the topic: “Is language the key to reasoning? Evidence from deafness, bilingualism, and aphasia”. The seminar will take place on Wednesday March 10th 2010.

Call for Papers - 5th South East European Doctoral Student Conference

The aim of DSC 2010 is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between young researchers and to consolidate the established network of scholars currently undertaking research in, and around the topic of, South East Europe. It will take place in Thessaloniki, on the 13th and 14th of September, 2010, and is organised by SEERC.

Early Career Stimulus award by ESCoP to 1st year PhD student Ms Despina Panagiotidou

Congratulations to Ms. Despina Panagiotidou, 1st year PhD candidate at SEERC, for winning the Early Career Stimulus award of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology. Ms. Panagiotidou was awarded the ESCoP grant for her research proposal entitled "Is the distractor devaluation effect actually emotional? An ERP study".
Successful organisation of PRO-VE'09 by SEERC

The 10th IFIP Working Conference on Virtual Enterprises (PRO-VE'09) took place on 7-9 October 2009, in Thessaloniki. The internationally renowned conference and premier event in the field of Collaborative Networks was organised by SEERC under the auspices of IFIP and was attended by over 120 delegates from around the world.
