The Southeast European Research Centre (SEERC), invites you to an event that will take place within the framework of the European project MORE.
MORE project entitled "The multifunctional role of women as a key driver for rural development" is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program and aims to improve the access and quality of training opportunities and qualifications for women in rural areas of the EU. The reality of women's lives in rural areas has become more different in recent decades. In today's society, women assume a "multi-functional role" in the multi-person context of their families (i.e. caring for children and the elderly) and in social and work ties.
This multiplicity of roles contributes significantly to the improvement of the quality of life of their families, as well as to the socio-economic development of the countryside, to civic participation and ways of rethinking territorial contexts. As part of the event, there will be a presentation of the results of the project as well as a presentation on the empowerment of rural women through the creation of a business entitled: "Empowering Rural Women: A Methodology for Successful Local Actions in Rural Areas"
