Dionysis Basakos holds a Beng (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering and an MSc in Computer Based Information Systems from the University of Sunderland. Since 2002 and until February 2010 he has been a Lecturer in IST Studies University of Hertfordshire Computer Science department in Athens and an active member of the training team of the REACT group for continuous education and transferable skills for the public and private sector. Currently he is participating in various private projects as a subcontractor in areas such as multimedia applications, software applications in education, development and evaluation of educational software, information systems, hardware design and CRM. He is a PhD candidate at the South-East European Research Centre, under the PhD programme of the University of Sheffield, UK. His research interests are focusing on the areas of emotional Multi-Agent systems and Affective Computing.
