Dr Petros Golitsis

Dr. Petros Golitsis is a Lecturer in the Business Administration and Economics Department at CITY College, the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield. His PhD thesis is on the "Interactions of monetary policies in South East Europe countries in an EMU context. A Global-VAR model". He delivers quantitative and monetary-financial modules both at undergraduate and postgraduate level (MSc and MBA) in Thessaloniki and abroad (e.g. in Sofia in collaboration with NBU and VUZF, in Kiev, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Baku and Bucharest). Prior to that, he had delivered modules in Tirana (in collaboration with the American University of Tirana), at the London School of Economics, UoL external program; at the University of Central Lancashire, external program; at the University of Highlands and Islands, external program. He has participated as a presenter and as a discussant in international conferences, including the Applied Macro & Empirical Finance Conference (2016), International Association for Applied Econometrics (IAAE 2015), the Annual South-East European Doctoral Student Conference (2015, 2016), etc.
