Dr Rustem Dautov holds an MSc (Distinction) in Computing Science from Newcastle University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK) and a BSc (Distinction) in Automation and Control Systems from Kazan State Technological University (Kazan, Russia). Before joining SEERC as a Research Associate under the Marie Curie Initial Training Network 'RELATE' in 2012, he had worked in the software industry in Russia for several years.
His research interests are in the area of Information and Knowledge Management, Cloud Computing, Autonomic Computing, Service-Oriented Computing and Software Engineering. His PhD research focused on the application of ontologies to self-management in cloud application platforms.
