SEERC at the ACCTING Final Conference: Driving Inclusive Change for a Fair Green Deal

SEERC at the ACCTING Final Conference: Driving Inclusive Change for a Fair Green Deal
Added on 05/05/2025

On April 29th, SEERC participated in the ACCTING Final Conference titled “Empowering Change: Building a Fair and Inclusive Green Deal”, held in Brussels.
The event explored pathways to advance social and environmental justice through three key sessions on knowledge, dialogue, and action. We were proud to see Mr. Zaharis Director of SEERC, act as moderator in Session 3: “Action – Advancing Behavioural Change through Partnerships and Collaboration”, focusing on how collaboration can drive impactful societal change.

ACCTING is an EU-funded project aiming to understand the impact of Green Deal policies on vulnerable groups, prevent inequalities, and produce knowledge and innovations to foster behavioural change at both individual and collective levels — contributing to a more inclusive and equitable European Green Deal.

The agenda also included a dedicated session featuring relevant EU-funded projects presented by Stefania Gourzoulidou. Two ongoing projects were presented:

INSPIRE – Supporting the inclusion, wellbeing, and growth of rural areas through multi-actor Smart Villages labs for enhanced governance frameworks.
LISTEN – Learning and Inclusion for Sustainable Community Engagement.

We thank the organisers of the ACCTING project for hosting this important conference and for the opportunity to contribute to the discussion on inclusive sustainability. IMG 1019IMG 1509IMG 1012IMG 1510
