The Final MedLab Technical and Steering Committee Meeting and International Public Conference will be held respectively on the 3rd and 4th Oct. 2011 in Thessaloniki, Greece at Electra Palace hotel.

During the conference the Inno-SME pilot action which is part of the MEDLAB project and is hosted by the Managing Authority of the Region of Central Macedonia will be presented. It focuses on the development of a pilot application for innovative SMEs in the construction and real estate industry. The objective of the pilot action is to create:

  • a virtual marketplace supporting the promotion of green property in the Mediterranean regions of France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus to global markets, and
  • a Living Lab for innovative solutions in Green Building.

The operation of the MED green property virtual marketplace is based on the contribution of the Living Lab members. Three groups of members are part of the living lab: (1) green property buyers, (2) green property developers and suppliers, and (3) companies in the construction of green property sector.
